Indy went to UPenn today to have his stitches removed! Dr. said he looks great. He'll be back to running around and swimming by the middle of next week.
He also had his second round of V-C treatments at Animal Wellness. They told me today that he was the BEST patient they had. They wished all their patients were like him. When he was taken off his leash he went right upstairs, around the corner and sat proudly in the crate. They couldn't believe it!!! They said they've never had a dog do that before.
That's our GOOD boy!
On July 23rd 2011 our beloved 9 year old Golden Retriever, Indiana (Indy) underwent an ER splenectomy and had two tumors removed. On July 27th he was diagnosed with Histiocytic Sarcoma. On Thursday July 28th, he began his treatment with a new drug called Neoplasene. This blog is an attempt to share our story with altnerative cancer treatments - we're praying that it's a good one!
